Minutes posted for the October 4, 2001 Meeting-

Treasurer's Report: (all amounts will remain disclosed on the web site)
Received check from state
Motion made to accept report by Nancy Rank, 2nd by Jim Holtry - approved

Issues Discussed:

(1). 52 boxes of candy were ordered (40 candy bars per box).
Will be sold at $1.00 per box.
(2). Pie sale approved by student council for Thanksgiving. Order sheets will be mailed to parents. Barb Care will be the chair person.
(3). The second Spaghetti Dinner will be April 29, 2002. Jim will contact the school and make all necessary arrangements.
(4). Bleachers will cost approximately $800.00. Will check on size and other prices. (5). Barry Heckard called Steve Smith with possibility of splitting cost of a concession stand. Steve will get back to him for details.
(6). Approval was given to use Union Canal for Pitching and Catching in January and Febuary.
(7). Scott Weiant has 6X8 wipe clean communication boards available if we want them free of charge. We want them.
(8). The captains will be gathering a list of clothing together for students to order. Barb Care will oversee the ordering and distribution of clothing.

Coach Shank Report:

(1). Students should workout over the winter months in the weight room.
(2). Open gym will start in January.
(3). Coach Bixler will be back as a coach.
(4). January 11, 2002 is the Cherry Hill Coaches Clinic. Would like approval for club to pay for volunteer coach to attend clinic and also would like $400.00 expense allowance for equipment. Motion made by Barb Care, 2nd by Paul Batz - approved.
(5). School approved the purchase of bats, bases, uniforms, and helmets. Club will have to pay for pitching machine (coach will pick out). Approx. $1600.00
